  1. Website Terms of Use

The following Terms of Use are established by Arthur D. Little ("ADL" or "we") and apply to any person ("you") accessing the website. Members of the Alumni Network are additionally bound by the Membership Agreement and the Community Standards. Collectively, these three documents constitute the Governing Terms.

Your Acceptance of our Terms of Use. By accessing this website, you fully agree to the present Terms of Use. 

Use of this Website. Arthur D. Little Alumni is a networking platform designed for Arthur D. Little Alumni and employees. It is provided for your use strictly for professional purposes

Intellectual Property. Excluding Member-generated Content, all content, materials, features, and functionality on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, videos, data compilations, software, and the overall design and organization (collectively referred to as the "ADL Content") — are the exclusive property of Arthur D. Little Services or its licensors. You are prohibited from copying, modifying, or using this material without prior written authorization from us. Any violation of this clause may result in legal action based on this contract, as well as claims for infringement of intellectual property rights.

Privacy. When you access our site, Arthur D. Little may collect, use, and share personal information in accordance with the ADL Privacy Notice. For further information on how we process your personal data and your rights in this regard, please refer to this Policy. Additional information on privacy and communication settings can be found in the Membership Agreement.

Unauthorized Data Access and Collection. You are prohibited from attempting to access data for which you do not have explicit permission and from excessively collecting data from our website. We explicitly prohibit the use of robots, spiders, site search/retrieval applications, or any other manual or automated tools or processes to retrieve, index, scrape, data mine, or otherwise gather content from the website in any manner. 

« As Is » and « As Available ». While we strive to provide a satisfying and uninterrupted experience on our website, we make no guarantees regarding the services offered or their availability. The website is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all liability for any damages arising from interruptions, functional errors, or defects.

User Responsibility for Access and Security.  You are solely responsible for ensuring that your devices, software, and internet connection are suitable and secure for accessing the website.

Violation of our Terms.  Any violation of our Governing Terms may result in restrictions on your access to the website, account termination, and potential legal action.

Our Relationship.  Using Arthur D. Little’s Alumni Network site and any of its services, including but not limited to mentoring and any training offered via the site does not constitute employment or co-employment by Arthur D. Little or any member of the Arthur D. Little Group. Nothing in our terms is intended to or shall be deemed to establish any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction.  The present terms are governed by French law. Any conflict arising from the use of the website will be adjudicated in the courts of Paris, France.

Updates. ADL may update the Governing Terms at its sole discretion, at any time, by making the updated versions available online. If you continue to use ADL Alumni Network, you agree to such updates.

 

 

  1. Membership Agreement

Joining the Alumni Network. By registering on the website, you gain access to the Alumni Network platform. Upon registration, an account will be created for you, enabling you to utilize the platform's services. These services include completing and updating your profile, creating and engaging with posts, accessing ADL Content, viewing other members' content, and communicating with other members through messaging.

Eligibility. ADL Alumni Network is available exclusively to pre-approved individuals previously employed by Arthur D. Little and current ADL employees. We reserve the right to decline registration without providing an explanation. Alumni are required to provide the necessary information during registration to allow ADL to verify their identity. Current ADL employees may access the platform via SSO.

Your Account and Access. Your account is intended for your personal use only. Do not share your account or disclose your username and password to anyone. If you are aware or suspect someone is accessing ADL Alumni Network with your username and password, you must immediately notify Arthur D. Little at alumni@adlittle.com.

Your Profile. Your profile, including the personal information that forms part of your profile (such as your first and last name) will be displayed to other members of ADL Alumni Network. You have the option to add your contact information and information relating to your previous and current employment to an online directory available to other members of ADL Alumni Network. You are not required to add your contact details to the directory and, if you do, you should only provide personal information you want to share with other members.

You can choose to make your profile public or private. If you make your profile private, none of your personal information will be displayed on your profile or be available in the directory. If your profile is private, you will be able to comment on posts (as “Hidden Profile”) and access content, but you will not be able to direct message other members.

Member-generated Content. When you submit, post or make available content or information by any means on ADL Alumni Network ("Member-generated Content"), others can see, copy and use that content or information. You own the content and information that you submit or post on ADL Alumni Network, and you are only granting ADL and our affiliates a non-exclusive license to reproduce and use that content for legitimate business and recruitment purposes.

By making available Member-generated Content available, you warranty that this content does not violate our Governing Terms or any applicable laws and third party rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, privacy laws and confidentiality obligations. ADL may delete all infringing Member-generated Content, including posts and comments made in response to posts.

ADL does not endorse the accuracy or reliability of Member-generated Content. Any reliance on said content is at your own risk. Furthermore, we disclaim all responsibility for hyperlinks or embedded modules provided by members.

Personal data. When you are registered on our website, ADL may also use your information to offer you employment opportunities and to track use of and monitor ADL Alumni Network platform, including to identify any ADL Alumni that become employees of ADL. For more comprehensive information on how we use your personal data and your rights over it, please refer to our ADL Privacy Policy.

Communication Settings. You will receive emails from ADL Alumni Network based on your email preferences provided at the time of registering. You can unsubscribe from receiving emails from ADL about ADL Alumni Network by following the instructions in the communications received.

Reporting content. If you see content that violates our Governing Terms or that you suspect to be unlawful, please notify us immediately at alumni@adlittle.com. Please make sure that your message includes the following: (1) an explanation of why you think this content violates our Governing Terms or a law, (2) details to help localize the content, such as its URL, (3) your full name and email address.

Limitation of liability. We do not exercise prior control over Member- generated Content; however, we will take appropriate measures as soon as we are notified of content that violates our Governing Terms. To the full extent permitted by law, we disclaim any responsibility or liability regarding Member-generated content.

Account termination. You have the option to delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your account in the event of a violation of our Governing Terms or if we determine that you no longer have a place within our community.

Arthur D. Little Alumni Network is a professional network for former and current employees of Arthur D. Little and companies of the Arthur D. Little Group. ADL Alumni is a borderless community where you can find networking opportunities and the tools to help you develop and strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, plot your next career steps, and stay in touch. No matter what lies ahead, ADL is committed to your lifelong success.

We expect all members of the ADL Alumni community to be courteous and respectful of one another. To ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive environment, please review and adhere to the ADL Alumni Community Guidelines:

 

  1. Professional Conduct

    Treat all members with professionalism.

     

  2. Networking with Purpose

    Use the platform to connect, collaborate, and share career opportunities or professional experiences. Avoid unsolicited or excessive messaging that could be perceived as spam or intrusive.

     

  3. Prohibited uses

    The platform is intended solely for legitimate professional purposes, such as career advancement, job searching, and professional networking or collaboration. Any use beyond these purposes is strictly prohibited.

    Members are prohibited from using the platform to recruit for organizations competing with Arthur D. Little or to advertise, sell products or services, or engage in any form of business promotion without prior written authorization from us.

     

  4. Appropriate Content Sharing

    Refrain from posting misinformation, unverified news, or irrelevant content that detracts from the professional purpose of the community.

    Harassment, discrimination, or other inappropriate or unlawful content are prohibited.

     

  5. Privacy, Confidentiality and Third Party Rights

    Respect the privacy of other members. Do not share personal information, conversations, or other content from the network without permission.

    Violation of these guidelines may result in removal of your content and/or termination of your membership.

    Arthur D. Little may update these Community Guidelines at its sole discretion, at any time, by making the updated versions available online.
